1. Start Your Day with a One-Minute Prayer

Before checking your phone, before scrolling social media, before reviewing your schedule, pause for one minute.

Simply pray:

“Lord, help me love You and love my family well today. Give me wisdom, patience, and peace.”

That’s it.

One minute.

You don’t need fancy words.

God isn’t grading your prayers.

He simply wants your heart.

2. Place Scripture Where You’ll See It

Tiny reminders can have a huge impact.

Write a favorite Bible verse on a sticky note and place it:

  • On your bathroom mirror
  • By the coffee maker

  • Inside your planner
  • On your refrigerator

Each time you see it, pause and reflect for a few seconds.

6. Create a “Faith Trigger”

A faith trigger is something you already do that reminds you to connect with God.

For example:

  • Every time you start the coffee maker, say a prayer.
  • Every time you stop at a red light, thank God for something.
  • Every time you wash your hands, pray for your family.
  • Every time you hear your phone notification, take a deep breath and remember God is with you.

When faith becomes attached to existing routines, it feels natural rather than overwhelming.

7. Give Yourself Grace

This may be the most important habit of all.

Some days you’ll remember to pray.

Some days you’ll forget.

Some days you’ll read a chapter of Scripture.

Some days you’ll barely manage a single verse.

God isn’t keeping score.

Your relationship with Him isn’t built on flawless performance.

It’s built on His grace.
