Easter morning is full of excitement—baskets filled with goodies, excited children, and the sweet scent of cinnamon rolls wafting from the kitchen. But underneath all the joy and busyness, there’s a quiet, powerful message just for you:
He is risen. And because He lives, so can we—fully, joyfully, and with purpose.
As parents, we pour so much of ourselves into our families. It’s beautiful, but it’s also easy to feel worn out, especially as the busy spring season brings new schedules, messes, and activities.
New Life Isn’t Just for Easter Sunday
The same power that raised Jesus from the grave is alive in you (Romans 8:11). That means the things that feel dead—hope, joy, patience, peace—can be made new again. The overwhelmed moments, the tired mornings, the doubts about whether you’re “doing enough”… they don’t get the final word.
Jesus does.
And He says, “Behold, I am making all things new” (Revelation 21:5).
Little Ways to Embrace Resurrection Joy
Want to bring some Easter joy into your everyday life? Here are a few simple ideas:
- Resurrect Your Quiet Time: Even 5 minutes with your Bible or a worship song can reset your heart. Try my FREE 7 day devotional.
- Speak Life: Use encouraging words—over your kids, your spouse, and yourself. Listen to Toby Mac’s song Speak Life. He is one of my favorite Christian artists and this song is so inspiring!
- Celebrate Small Wins: He delights in your faithfulness, even in the hidden moments.
- Let Go of Guilt: Christ didn’t rise so we could stay buried under shame. You’re forgiven and free.
You’re Part of the Story
This Easter, remember: you’re not just observing resurrection—you’re living it. You’re a woman of purpose, placed in your home and your family for such a time as this. Your love, your laughter, your prayers—they all matter deeply.
Let the empty tomb remind you that God is still writing your story. Don’t give up! Your life is full of grace, beauty, and hope.
