Scripture:
“The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.” – Psalm 138:8
Sometimes we feel like purpose is something far away—waiting for us once life slows down, once the house is clean, once we finally have it all together. But God reminds us that His purpose isn’t delayed until we’re “ready.”
It’s unfolding right now.
Your purpose is lived out in the way you love your children, the way you show kindness at work, the way you whisper a prayer when your heart feels weary. These aren’t small things in God’s eyes—they’re sacred moments of obedience that ripple into eternity.
When we stop chasing a grand, far-off calling and instead draw close to God, we realize that His purpose is already woven into our everyday lives. He doesn’t just use the polished parts of us—He works through the messy, busy, ordinary places, too.
Prayer:
Father, thank You that Your purpose for my life isn’t hidden or out of reach. Help me to see how You are using me right where I am today. Align my heart with Yours so that even in the little things, I can walk in Your calling. Remind me that nothing is wasted when it’s given to You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
